I have an idea for a tip but emails sent to trainuc@microsoft.com bounce back with 550 5.5.1 'User Unknown.'

The idea for the tip is to change the default phone contact method for a user so that instead of it always defaulting to Work or Mobile, having it default to Communicator Call. Lots of our users just click the icon to dial, without realizing that they are calling a work or mobile number, whereas to control costs, IT would prefer for them to make the Communicator call the default icon that appears.

Any idea how to change personal status note from all users programatically from an script or .net program in the communicator server?. The idea is to update status for the user automatically from others sources like access control systems, HR systems, like "under licence of vacations", etc... if so please mail me to srojas at tecna dot com thanks!!!!!

Hi,
 I have installed Office Communicator Mobile 2007 R2 for Java on my Nokia E51 mobile phone. While trying to configure I entered my domain, username, password and the server address. Clicking on sign-in took me to a screen telling me to set the pin. Next screen gives me the boxes to enter a 4-digit pin and then confirm it. After entering the pin completely the "Next" button becomes active but I cant seem to press the "Next" button. Pressing the centre button should have ideally pressed "Next" but it did not work. I tried all the other buttons on the phone but without success.

 I am stuck at this point. Can't get further than this and seems like without this I cant sign-in.

Can you please help me fix this issue or suggest me a workaround ?

I have one concern about this Status Note tip. In the first inro para you have mentioned the "Microsoft® Office Communicator 2007 R2" but the image and the menu option you referred in the steps is belong to "Office Communicator Mobile 2007 R2 " If I am not wrong.

Because in Communicator you can directly click on "Type a note" area below the user name. And you will able to write you status note.
